John Varvatos Gets Social with Pictela

Award-winning men's fashion designer and retailer John Varvatos has gone live with a Pictela unit on its web site. The holiday catalog includes over twenty high-resolution product photos that can be shared directly a user's Facebook wall, Twitter and blogs.

"We're extremely pleased to now be on Pictela's high definition platform. We're using this technology because we want to distribute our brand imagery across johnvarvatos.com and into key social environments like Facebook," said Donna Faircloth, VP Marketing and Corporate Communications.

Retail is a key category for Pictela. In the past six months the rich media technology company has onboarded over two dozen retailers including Macy's, H&M, Target, Gucci, Nike and JCPenney.
